Darwin not only holds its own delights, it is also your gateway to the Top End. So in addition to the markets, galleries, museums, nightlife and delicious harbourside dining, you’ll find yourself within easy reach of natural wonderlands like Litchfield National Park, Kakadu, Arnhem Land, Cobourg Peninsula, the Tiwi Islands and the Kimberley.

While you could easily spend days enjoying the cosmopolitan attractions of the city of Darwin itself, it’s these wilderness areas that really make this part of the world like nothing on Earth. The wildlife. The history. The landscapes. They’re all completely unique to the area and even vary dramatically between regions. Aboriginal rock art, cascading waterfalls, magnificent rock formations, glorious rivers for fishing or spotting the prehistoric saltwater crocodiles… it’s all here. Even the accommodation can be completely unique!

The opportunities in these regions really are endless and with our range of tours and accommodation you have the choice of what we believe to be some of the best available in the area.

Average regional temperatures

Mar - May 24ºC – 32.9ºC
