Our trip on the Ghan was one of the most memorable and pleasant train trips we have ever taken. The staff was absolutely outstanding and the food and drink qualified as true cuisine. The side trips further enhanced the trip. Fellow passengers made each day go by all too quickly. It is truly one of the world's greatest train rides.

In 2004 I travelled Gold Kangaroo from Adelaide to Sydney. The whole trip was fantastic. So in March 2010 I am travelling IP from Perth to Adelaide and then the Ghan from Adelaide to Darwin. Can't wait.

I enjoyed an amazing Gold Class trip on The Ghan last September from Darwin to Adelaide. The spectacular scenery, cheerful passengers and the helpful and friendly staff made this an incredible journey I will never forget. Thank you!

We have travelled the Overland on regularly,and will never travel by car again. Absolutely fantastic trip. We have now got the bug and will be going to Darwin and returning on the Ghan soon. We just can't wait for this trip, then we suppose it will be the Indian Pacific! Great way to travel, relaxing, comfortable, and all the rest.

dorrie and I recently travelled from sydney to adelaide and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The service was impeccable and the meals of restaurant quality and plenty of it. We will be back again at the first opportunity.

I travelled on the Indian Pacific from Adelaide to Perth in November 2008 and loved every minute of this unique journey. The staff were friendly and helpful and I met some really lovely people on board. Not forgetting the scenery...WOW! It was an experience I shall never forget.

we traveled on the Ghan on the 24th of oct. which just happend to be my 60th birthday. The staff on the train whose names were Hayley and Karen went out of their way to make my birthday special. My patner and I had a great time and it was lovely to wake up and watch the sun rise from our window. thankyou for the experience.

What a fantastic experience. We travelled gold class from Adelaide to Darwin for our 25th wedding anniversary. The last day on the train was our anniversary date and crew D ensured it was a magical day for us - thanks so much. Don't wait to retire to do this trip - do it now!
