We would both like to say that we were delighted with our trip on the Indian Pacific. The staff were a shear delight and made our journey so very enjoyable. The meals were superb. I cannot recommend this trip to anyone highly enough.

Travelled Melbourne to Adelaide on Friday 20th October 2007.
What a fantastic trip!
You could't wish for a nicer train manager than Jacky Pamplin-Jones and her wonderful crew. Her witty remarks and friendly manner added to the journey. Scenery was good and weather perfect,
Keep up the good work.

We were able to fulfil our long time dream of crossing this magnificent continent, from east to west, on the Indian Pacific, in August 2007, the year of our 50th birthdays & our 25th wedding anniversary!
From the moment we pulled out of Central Station in Sydney, we relaxed, enjoyed the company of our fellow travellers & marvelled at the diverse scenery we saw along the way.
The service on board was second to none, in fact the staff bent over backwards to make our trip as memorable as was possible.
Even when we were prevented from travelling any further than Kalgoorlie, due to an earlier derailment, the staff went out of their way to make sure that we were informed as details came to hand.
A bus trip to Perth, during the day, so we got to see countryside we otherwise would have passed through at night, was expertly organised, & we arrived to a warm welcome from GSR staff in Perth.
We will definitely be travelling again, & are in the process of booking a trip on THe Ghan in 2008.
Thanks so very much to GSR on a truly wonderful experience.

I travelled on the Indian Pacific from Adelaide to Sydney for the first time in June 2007.
I was most impressed with Gold Kangaroo service and the attentive staff.
I will be doing this trip again in November 2007 but in reverse!

From the 15th to 18th of July we travelled Gold Kangaroo class on the Overland and Indian Pacific to Perth. We enjoyed it so much that we intend to take the Ghan to Darwin next year. The meals and service exceeded our best expectations. Keep up the good work!.

My husband, daughter and I finally got to ride on The Overland in early June of this year. We travelled from Bordertown to Melbourne. We had the best time due mainly to the comfortable, roomy seats we had in the Red Kangaroo area and that we were able to watch videos playing on the tv sets. The powder room was so spacious and the dining car fantastic. The meal prices were very reasonable. I know we will definitely travel again on The Overland and will probably be in early August as we trek back to Bordertown. I forgot to mention that our initial trip from Melbourne to Bordertown was cancelled but the service we recieved when transfered to buses was fantastic. Well done!
